RiskCherry Secures License in the UK, Plans Further Expansion
The company hopes to become one of the industry-leading testing labs

RiskCherry, a Malta-based independent testing lab, has secured a license from the United Kingdom’s Gambling Commission (UKGC). As a result, the testing lab will now be able to inspect and certify video slots and associated gaming content for licensed UK studios.
RiskCherry specializes in the testing of online casino games, ensuring that they are fair and balanced. It leverages a streamlined certification process that allows gaming studios to focus exclusively on content creation by “alleviating the challenges” usually associated with the attainment of certifications.
RiskCherry also sports a highly automated Client Portal that makes certifications even easier and more intuitive to its partnering studios.
RiskCherry is accredited to industry standards including ISOs 9001:2015, 17020:2012, 17025:2017, and 27001:2013. The company hopes to secure additional ISO accreditations in the future, further expanding its presence.
RiskCherry Plans to Double Down on Its Expansion
The approval from the UKGC is a major milestone for RiskCherry, which remains bullish on expanding globally. The license in the UK is a development that follows additional accreditations in Spain and Ontario.
In addition to that, RiskCherry currently holds licenses in other notable markets, such as Malta, Gibraltar, Sweden and Denmark, among others. In total, the company has secured approvals in 12 regulated markets across the world.
RiskCherry’s chief operating officer, Mihael Mladenov, commented on the new license, calling it a “pivotal moment” for the company. He expressed RiskCherry’s desire to continue to make further strides in regulated markets, growing the certification lab’s global footprint.
By simplifying the certification process, we are uniquely positioned to help our clients scale their operations efficiently.
Mihael Mladenov, COO, RiskCherry
Thanks to the reliability of its certification process, RiskCherry’s services are used by multiple companies in the gambling sector. The company is currently targeting expansions in the United States, Canada and Latin America, hoping to become an industry-defining testing lab.
