FIFA Club World Cup Odds Favor PSG

Just 15 days after achieving the biggest success in the club’s modern history – winning the 2025 Champions League – PSG have another quest on their hands. They’re coming to America to try to win the 2025 FIFA World Cup.

Their players might be in a celebratory mood, but they would love to get ahold of more silverware. Practically the entire PSG’s UCL-winning roster is in the US, but we could see coach Luis Enrique give a chance to some backup players to show what they’re capable of.

We expect to see Senny Mayulu, Bradley Barcola, and other youngsters on the pitch. But this isn’t necessarily bad news for PSG fans. Not only are these guys elite players, but they’re super motivated to put on a great show.

Can Atleti Beat PSG Again?

The last time these two met – in the group phase of the Champions League – Atletico Madrid won 2:1 in Paris. Diego Simeone’s men were simply more lethal, but it’s PSG that dominated the game.

Atleti made only four attempts on goal but scored twice. Meanwhile, PSG’s players had 22 goal chances but scored just one. Atletico’s goalkeeper Jan Oblak was the man of the match, making eight saves that day.

Atletico’s defenders also played well that day, which isn’t surprising as defense is this team’s strongest weapon. However, we suspect that Simeone won’t “park the bus” on June 15.

The thing is that Atleti have been playing offensive-minded soccer lately, scoring four goals in each of their last two games.

We think that this game will see goals galore. Sure, Atleti are famously good defensively, but this time around, we think they’re going to try and play PSG’s game. It won’t go well for them, we think. While they’re likely to score a goal or two, we think that PSG’s offense will produce even more.
