Powerball Prize Reaches New Heights for Monday Drawing

The Powerball jackpot has continued to grow after going unclaimed for yet another drawing. The current prize is notably the second-largest prize offered by the game in 2025.

Almost a Billion Dollars Await

The December 6 Powerball drawing failed to elect a winner once again. The good news is that the prize has continued to grow and has now reached a stellar $875 million with a cash value of $403.6 million. As mentioned, this is the second biggest Powerball jackpot for 2025.

The Saturday drawing might have failed to crown a jackpot winner, but it definitely elected many winners of smaller prizes. These included not one but four recipients of seven-figure sums. These players matched all white numbers with the exception of the Powerball, thus narrowly missing the jackpot.

As a result, three players, hailing from Florida, Georgia, and Texas, will receive $1 million each, while a fourth, from New Jersey, will take home $3 million due to the Power Play feature.

In the meantime, 28 players matched four white numbers and the Powerball to win $50,000 each. Twelve others matched the same numbers but will take $100,000 each due to Power Play.

For context, the winning numbers for the December 6 drawing were 13, 14, 26, 28, 44 with a Powerball 7.

The next drawing is set to take place later today.
