Powerball Jackpot Survives, Reaches $58M for the Wednesday Drawing

Powerball’s jackpot has now reached $58 million with a cash value of $26.8 million

The Monday Powerball drawing has passed without a significant win, although a slight slowdown is to be expected, considering the fact that the previous jackpot landed just a few days ago. In any case, the game’s top prize has started building up again and is now nearing the $60 million mark.

The Powerball Jackpot Survived

The Monday drawing saw Powerball enthusiasts play for a jackpot of $47 million with a cash value of $21.7 million. However, no player managed to correctly match all six numbers in the game and the jackpot remained unclaimed.

The winning numbers for the drawing on March 9 were as follows: 22, 23, 28, 36, and 54, with a Powerball of 13. In addition to not awarding a jackpot, the Monday drawing did not award a seven-figure prize to any of its players either, since no one managed to correctly guess the five white numbers.

However, a bunch of players did succeed in nailing four of the white numbers and the Powerball. These included six players who won $50,000 each, as well as four others who will take home $150,000 each due to the Power Play feature. The Power Play multiplier for the Monday drawing was 3X.

Powerball’s jackpot has now reached $58 million with a cash value of $26.8 million. The next drawing is set to take place on March 11, 2026.

Mega Millions Fans Prepare for Tonight’s Drawing

In the meantime, Mega Millions fans brace for today’s drawing, as the game’s jackpot surpassed the half-billion-dollar mark to reach $533 million. The previous drawing awarded a life-changing prize of $4 million to a player in Florida, as well as $2 million to a player in Arizona.

In the meantime, a lucky player in Texas recently won $2.4 million from the Texas Two Step game. This was notably the second-biggest jackpot in the game’s history, and also the biggest to land in some 20 years.
