Playtech Teams up with Unibet for New Jersey Software Delivery

As Playtech refocuses its efforts on its B2B and B2C gaming divisions and divests from its financial arm, Finalto, the company has managed to strike a new partnership with Kindred Group’s Unibet Interactive. The partnership covers the US market and focuses on multiple jurisdictions within the country.
Unibet Set to Benefit from Extensive Playtech Expertise
Through a freshly-minted agreement, Playtech will provide Unibet with its RNG Casino software in New Jersey with more states to come next. The addition of Unibet as a partner marks the next step for the company’s expansion in the United States, Playtech confirmed in a press release.
Commenting on these events, Playtech COO Shimon Akad said: “We are delighted to announce this exciting step in Playtech’s U.S. growth. Unibet delivers a fantastic entertainment experience to their U.S. customers, and we are proud to partner with them to deliver Playtech’s Casino software as part of their market-leading offering – starting in New Jersey.”
Best Quality Content for a High-Barrier Market
Akad added that Playtech will continue to team up with leading operators in New Jersey and beyond in a bid to consolidate its standing in the US. Kindred Group US SVP Manuel Stan welcomed Playtech and praised the casino software it offers. “Partnering with Playtech enables us to offer our online casino customers a selection of some of the best quality content, and we look forward to furthering collaboration with Playtech across more US states in the future,” he concluded.
New Jersey has been praised as one of the pivotal markets for iGaming and sports betting in the United States. Similarly, the state has a high entry barrier that has stymied many operators in the past. Internet Vikings, a global provider of hosting services, is currently working with PlayStar Casino to spearhead the company’s market entry.
