Playtech Inks Partnership with Novomatic Americas
Leading gambling technology company, Playtech announced a non-exclusive sports betting partnership with Novomatic Americas on Thursday. The agreement builds upon an existing long-term collaboration with Novomatic Americas’ owner NOVOMATIC AG under which Playtech and NOVOMATIC jointly operate more than 10,000 kiosks worldwide.
Under the new strategic partnership, Playtech will deliver its sports wagering kiosk systems through Novomatic ActionBook, which is the most popular sports wagering kiosk on the US market. Furthermore, Novomatic Action Book is currently active in a total of 11 states and operates in 49 different locations in the United States.
Furthermore, the industry leaders DraftKings and Penn National Gaming are among the operators who are already using Novomatic ActionBook. Besides the sports wagering kiosk, the two companies are also going to market Playtech’s Mobile Sportsbook and Player Account Management (PAM) software to potential clients.
Novomatic to Solidify Its Presence in the US
In a statement, Rick Meitzler, President and CEO at Novomatic Americas said that Novomatic is pleased to grow its relationship with Playtech. Furthermore, he added that the company is looking forward to introducing Playtech’s sports wagering solution to the Novomatic ActionBook.
According to Meitzler, with the help of Playtech’s proven sports betting expertise in regulated markets, Novomatic ActionBook is going to cement its status as the most popular sports wagering kiosk in the US.

Playtech Continues US Expansion
Playtech’s US managing director, Jonathan Doubilet also shared his excitement. He said that the company is excited to extend its partnership with Novomatic to provide a complete sports wagering solution in multiple US states.
Furthermore, he said that the combined service is going to deliver a best-in-class experience. According to Doubilet, this is a prime example of Playtech’s ability to partner with leading operators and increase its presence in the continuously growing US market.
Since Playtech entered the regulated market in the US last year, the company has been active to expand its presence. Currently, Playtech is already supplying its services for Entain and Bet365 in New Jersey. Furthermore, earlier this month, the company inked an agreement with Parx Casino in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Indiana.
