Pennsylvania Lottery Players Won Several Top Prizes Near the Turn of the Year

Winning tickets worth a million dollars or more were sold at Delaware County, Erie County, Luzerne County, and McKean County

The Pennsylvania Lottery announced several winners of seven-figure sums from its scratch-off games. The wins included a remarkable $5 million win that went to a winner in Delaware County.

Several Players Won Big in Time for 2026

In its announcement, the Pennsylvania lottery listed three winners of prizes of a million dollars or more from its scratch-off games. The first and perhaps most noteworthy of these was the aforementioned $5 million win in Delaware County.

According to lottery officials, the win was scored from a $50 MONOPOLY Own It All scratch-off ticket. The lottery also noted that the lucky ticket was purchased from GIANT, 550 East Lancaster Avenue, Radnor Township. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

In the meantime, a player in Erie County won $1.5 million from the lottery’s $30 Cash Spectacular scratch-off game. The lotter emphasized that this was the maximum sum Cash Spectacular players can win.

The winning ticket was sold at Sheetz, 8180 Perry Highway, Summit Township, Erie County. The store will also receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

The final winner in that trio was a Luzerne County player who scooped up a $1 million top prize from the lottery’s $20 Millionaire Loading scratch-off game. The winning ticket was purchased from Schiel’s Family Market, 7 George Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, which will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

Shortly after announcing the three winners, the Pennsylvania Lottery added that a player in McKean County had bought a winning $1.5 million ticket. The player won the prize from the $30 Cash Spectacular game. The winning ticket was sold at Uni-Mart (Exxon), 76 Chestnut St., Bradford, which will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

Mega Million Jackpot Arrives Home, Powerball Winner Has Yet to Claim Prize

In other lottery-related news, the winner of the jaw-dropping $980 million Mega Millions jackpot in November just came forward to claim their prize. The ticket was claimed on January 2, with Gretchen Corbin, president and CEO of the Georgia Lottery, hailing the big win.

At the same time, the winner of Powerball’s $1.8 billion jackpot remains elusive and has yet to come forward to claim their winnings.
