Pai Gow Player Wins $1M at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

A Las Vegas local will remember this past weekend for the rest of their life after hitting the progressive jackpot and winning $1 million at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, local news media KTNV reported.

The winner, who wished to remain anonymous, won the money during a game of Face Up Pai Gow as he was dealt a seven-card straight flush with a joker and his $5 side bet made the draw eligible to win the progressive jackpot of $1,009,601

The $1 million win is the second large win at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas within the space of two months after an unnamed slot player won big while playing the Dancing Drums Explosion slot machine last month.

The lucky winner hit the jackpot on the Fu Babies bonus by matching three explosion symbols to win close to $3 million from the slot machine made by SG Gaming and featuring an Asian theme.

Wheel of Fortune Millionaires

In July, another Las Vegas local who was playing at Sunset Station won the $1,262,132.28 jackpot on IGT’s Wheel of Fortune progressive after only three spins. The win was the second occasion for the gambling venue in 2022 when a major Wheel of Fortune jackpot was won, following the win of a $689,000 jackpot the month before.

IGT’s Wheel of Fortune slots saw three casino guests from Hawaii win big at Boyd Gaming Las Vegas properties in the space of three months.

In March, a woman scored a progressive jackpot of $1,316,725, at California Hotel and Casino to follow suit of another Hawaii resident who scored big in February while playing Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin Deluxe Triple Stars at Freemont Hotel and Casino and won more than $275,000 progressive jackpot.

In January, again at Freemont, another Hawaii guest hit the $1.1 million jackpot while playing Wheel of Fortune Super Times Pay 2x 3x 4x 5x slot machine.

In September, the Wheel of Fortune slot game minted its second millionaire for the year at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut after a game of Wheel of Fortune Pink Diamond awarded a casino patron who wished to remain anonymous a $1.2 million jackpot.

In May, Foxwoods saw a casino patron playing IGT’s Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin Triple Red Hot 7s slots game win $1.66 million.
