Oddin.gg Signs Strategic Multi-Year Partnership with Sportradar
The new alliance “aims to harness the best of both worlds,” merging Oddin’s esports expertise with Sportradar’s video distribution
Sportradar, a leader in sports data and services, has penned an agreement with Oddin.gg, an award-winning provider of esports betting solutions. The multi-year arrangement will allow Sportradar to offer audiovisual streaming of Oddin’s exclusive esports content to its global network of partners.
The partnership will allow Oddin to reach more clients, in line with its ambition to expand in the rapidly growing global esports betting market. The tie-up with Sportradar will, according to the announcement, extend the reach of Oddin.gg’s official competition content, allowing it to leverage its new partner’s market-leading position.
For reference, Sportradar’s global network spans some 900+ betting operator clients. All these companies will now be able to add Oddin’s live-streamed esports events to their content lineup, engaging fans with new betting opportunities.
The global esports betting market has an annual turnover of approximately EUR 83 billion, making it very attractive to gambling industry companies. The global gaming livestreaming market, on the other hand, is expected to grow from EUR 810 million in 2021 to EUR 1.41 billion by 2025.
Oddin.gg is one of the big players in the esports betting sector and holds the official rights to high-profile competitions, such as the recently released Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). The partnership with Sportradar notably covers several prestigious esports competitions, including the PGL Copenhagen Major 2024, the first Major for CS2, Dacha DOTA2 qualifiers and main events, Dacha CS2 qualifiers and main events and Tipsport MCR 2024.
The Deal Harnesses the Best of Both Worlds
Oddin.gg’s chief executive and co-founder, Vlastimil Venclik, commented on the new partnership, saying that his team is embarking on a journey with Sportradar. He lauded the latter company as a leader in sports data and content.
This partnership is not just a collaboration but a combination of distinct strengths, where Sportradar’s extensive and sophisticated video distribution capabilities are set to be the vehicle for our unparalleled esports odds and analytical insights.
