A player in New Jersey has won $600,000 after playing the local lottery’s Colossal Crossword scratch-off game. This is notably the game’s top prize, meaning that the $30 ticket really paid off handsomely.

On September 29, the New Jersey Lottery confirmed that a lucky player had scored one of the three Colossal Crossword jackpots. This life-changing prize was won by a player in Bergen County, the lottery elaborated.

For context, the Colossal Crossword game was launched in April. The tickets cost $30, with smaller prizes ranging from $50 to $25,000. In addition to that, the game included three $600,000 jackpots.

According to the New Jersey Lottery, all top prizes have now been won. Officials also noted that the previous two $600,000 Colossal Crossword tickets were sold at Ocean County and Essex County.

The New Jersey Lottery also said that the Bergen County winner purchased their ticket at the Manor Sweet Shoppe on Jackson Avenue in Rutherford.

In addition to that, the New Jersey Lottery reported that a player in Mercer County won $200,000 from a different scratch-off game. The fortunate lottery fan in question was enjoying the lottery’s Deep Pocket scratch-off game.

After purchasing a $5 ticket at Welsh Farms, 92 Flock Road, in Hamilton, the player secured $200,000, which was the game’s top prize. The lottery emphasized that this was the first of the four $200,000 prizes to be won.

The lottery added that, on September 27, two more players won six-figure prizes after securing $100,000 each from Powerball. One of the winning tickets was sold in Morris County, while the other was purchased by a player in Warren County.

Michigan Lottery Players Win Big

Elsewhere, a lucky man secured a life-changing $2 million prize after purchasing several Michigan Lottery tickets on a whim. The 32-year-old decided to give the 100X instant game a few tries while on a shopping trip and couldn’t believe his luck when he won the game’s top prize.

The Michigan Lottery confirmed that the player claimed his prize, choosing the lump sum option. In an interview with the lottery, the man said that he plans to save the money.

The fortunate man wasn’t the only recent Michigan Lottery winner, though, as two players just scooped up spectacular prizes, including a $500K payout from an instant ticket, as well as a $150K prize from Powerball.
