New Jersey Gaming Posts $581.6M in Revenue for June
In total, New Jersey’s casinos, racetracks and their partners reported $581.6 million in gaming revenue for June 2025

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has published its official report about the performance of the state’s gambling industry in June. As it turns out, the overall revenue reflected significant growth, underpinned by strong performance across all verticals.
The Nine Casinos’ Revenues Increased Slightly
The NJ DGE reported that the total casino win recorded by Atlantic City’s nine casino hotels stood at $259 million for the month. This figure translates to an increase of 6.1% from the $244.1 million reported for June 2024.
On a year-to-date basis, casino win in New Jersey stood at $1.38 billion through June 2025, which reflected an increase of 1.7% year-on-year.
iGaming Continued to Experience Explosive Growth
In the meantime, the iGaming sector reported a total revenue of $230.7 million for June 2025. According to the DGE, the casinos and their online partners experienced a 23.5% growth when compared to the $186.8 million reported for June 2024.
On a year-to-date basis, internet gaming win was $1.39 billion through June 2025, up 22.7% year-on-year. For comparison, the New Jersey online casino industry reported $1.13 billion in revenue for the prior year-to-date period.
The growth of online casinos further highlights the sector’s tremendous potential.
Sports Betting Rose in June, Still Weaker on YTD Basis
In the meantime, the sports betting sector, which consists of the casinos, racetracks and their partners, reported $91.9 million in gross revenue. This showed a staggering 52.9% growth when compared to $60.1 million reported for June 2024.
As for the year-to-date results, the DGE reported that sports wagering gross revenue was $552 million through June 2025. This figure, however, corresponds to a decrease of 3.7% year-on-year when compared to the $573.1 million reported for the prior year-to-date period.
New Jersey’s Total Gaming Revenue Increased
In total, New Jersey’s casinos, racetracks and their partners reported $581.6 million in gaming revenue for June 2025. The final figure reflects an 18.4% growth year-on-year. For comparison, the New Jersey operators posted a total revenue of $491 million for June 2024.
The year-to-date figures show total gaming revenue of $3.32 billion, up 8.5% year-on-year. To put things into perspective, the New Jersey gaming industry reported $3.06 billion in total gaming revenue for the prior year-to-date period.
The DGE furthermore added that the total gaming revenue resulted in total gross revenue taxes of $62.8 million for June 2025. On a year-to-date basis, the industry has so far paid $364.4 million to the state.
