Mohegan Launched Aristocrat Machines in Connecticut

Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment, a tribal developer and operator of premier global integrated entertainment resorts, has launched new slot machines at the Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut. The new additions are courtesy of Aristocrat Technologies, a global expert in the slots sector.

Mohegan Added New Machines to Mohegan Sun

The machines Mohegan added are Aristocrat’s proprietary Dragon Link HD in-house progressive slot machines. Notably, Mohegan Gaming will be the first operator to ever offer such a product to its customers.

Mohegan Sun visitors can expect to find the new casino equipment at the high limit slot section. This is located right next to the Sachem Lounge and Vista Lounge at Wombi Rock. Once there, visitors can enjoy the Dragon Link HD thrill.

The new machines will offer a refreshing experience such as a $1 million progressive jackpot game. Tha latter will have a minimum bet of $25 and a maximum bet of $2,500. Mohegan stated that this game will allow jackpots to be built up solely on the action placed on the Dragon Link slots at the Mohegan Sun casino. The new Dragon Link HD machines will be a welcome addition that will further diversify Mohegan Sun’s offerings.

Mohegan Sun is a Native-American-themed venue that is divided into two casinos: Casino of the Earth and Casino of the Sky. Other than the new Dragon Link machines, visitors can expect to find a rich selection of over 4,000 slots and 300 table games.

Mohegan Continues to Enhance Its Offerings

Jeff Hamilton, the president and general manager of Mohegan Sun, spoke about the new machines at the venue. He said that his team is excited to roll out the Dragon Link HD in-house progressive games for the casino’s guests. In addition, the manager finds it very exciting that the company is the first one to offer such machines in the whole Constitution State.

Hamilton also noted that Mohegan Sun has regularly hit jackpots of $1 million and more. He believes that the new games and machines will contribute to that statistic.

In May, Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment inked a strategic partnership with the sports betting services provider Kambi Group. Subsequently, Kambi powered Fallsview Casino in Ontario, Canada, with its critically-acclaimed mobile betting solutions. Earlier this year, Mohegan also joined forces with the casino service provider VizExplorer. The latter agreed to help promote the Mohegan Sun Pocono casino resort in Pennsylvania.

Yesterday, the tribal operator reinforced its team, naming Heather Menzano as VP of web communication.
