LCKY Group Names Industry Veteran Alex Manning as CTO
Prior to joining LCKY Group’s team, Manning served as Light & Wonder’s chief technology officer of iGaming
LCKY Group, the company formerly known as Glitnor, announced a major new appointment, saying that the experienced Alex Manning will join its fold as its group chief technology officer. The new addition to the company’s C-suite comes not long after its strategic rebrand.
LCKY Onboards Former L&W CTO to Its C-Suite
LCKY Group hailed Manning’s arrival, describing him as someone with some 25 years of experience in the fields of financial technology and online gambling. The appointee was further hailed as a specialist in scale-ups and an expert in digital transformations.
Manning’s track record includes roles at a variety of companies. His most recent position prior to his current appointment was as CTO of Light & Wonder, a B2B leader in gaming content. During his time with L&W, Manning led the engineering team through a complete transformation to a product-led, cross functional delivery model. Thanks to this, Light & Wonder was eventually able to roll out several first-of-a-kind products.
Manning is notably the first major appointment following Glitnor’s rebrand as LCKY Group and will bring fresh perspectives and leadership to the group.

Manning commented on his new appointment as well, saying that he is excited about the opportunity to join a leading gaming business at such a critical time. He said that LCKY Group is currently “laser-focused on building broader international resonance and appeal in core regulated markets” and said that he is looking forward to supporting its efforts.
