Kicked out of Bar at Las Vegas Airport TikToker Slanders Establishment Online
After getting kicked out of a bar at a Las Vegas Airport a social media influencer decided to bash the establishment online
Over at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, a social media influencer was kicked out of a bar during a livestream.
This weekend, Marco Ayala, a TikTok influencer, was told to leave the B Lounge while claiming to have only been enjoying his bagel.
He uploads to the TikTok @marcocookiez, named after his dessert brand.
An analysis of the video Ayala uploaded paints a much different picture of the whole situation.
The original video was uploaded on December 12, where it’s clear that he was the main cause of the “Bagel-gate” situation.
The Bagel Situation
Ayala had brought in a bagel from outside the bar establishment and began to eat it. He never bothered to order a drink or remove his earphones.
In the video, a waitress can be heard telling Ayala that he isn’t allowed to just eat there:
“You have to purchase a beverage at the bar to sit down and eat.”
Ayala’s response to this waitress was to smile mockingly into his camera and say:
“Power trip, we’re gone!”
After this, Ayala pranced right out of the establishment and said this: “I don’t usually have time to deal with humans like this.”
A day after it was released, the video had passed half a million views on TikTok.
Many of the comments of the original video supported the crashout.
Other content creators did not agree with the actions that the TikToker had taken and posted reaction videos condemning this behavior.
Online Slander
While leaving the bar, Ayala had this to say:
“Karma will get her.”
He then went through Gate B looking for a spot to finish his bagel.
Ayala went on to boast about how he was “divinely protected” and how “The universe is always on my side”.
He went on to say that he was gonna get the woman fired:
“Look who’s gonna lose her job in a couple of days because I’m gonna do some magic.”
This, instead of pushing people away, got people riled up, which led them to bomb the bar’s Yelp score.
The original Yelp score of the lounge was 2.5 stars; however, after 75 negative one-star reviews appeared one after the other, it fell to 1.5 stars.
Some of Ayala’s followers even went as far as to comment that the waitress should be fired.
A few hours later, suspecting foul play, Yelp disabled the page’s reviews.
This was Yelp’s reasoning behind this action: “whether the content you see here reflects actual consumer experiences rather than the recent (news) events.”
