Jiri Prochazka to Prove He’s the Best of the Rest
Jiri Prochazka has lost only twice since joining the UFC, and both of those losses happened against Alex Pereira, each time by a TKO. Poatan might be his kryptonite, but this guy’s done very well against other UFC opponents, namely, Aleksandar Rakic, Glover Teixeira, Dominick Reyes, and Volkan Oezdemir.
Prochazka is a well-rounded fighter, but his favorite weapon is striking. The evidence of this is that 26 of his 30 wins happened by KO/TKO. He also has three wins by submission, one of which happened against legendary grappler Glover Teixeira. In fact, that was the fight that won Prochazka the title.
Reasons Why Jamahal Hill Is (Slight) Favorite
Jamahal Hill looked really bad in his fight with Alex Pereira, which ended with him getting KO-ed after just 204 seconds. Actually, he looked out of shape even before the fight and his training footage was a clear sign that he was heading for disaster.
He seems to be in better shape right now, but we’re not sure if he’s as good as during his glory days. What we’re talking about is the time before injuring his Achilles tendon, which is why he was forced to vacate the title in 2023.
He won the title against Glover Teixeira, and he got the title shot after wins over Thiago Santos, Johnny Walker, and Jimmy Crute.
Jiri Prochazka vs. Jamahal Hill Prediction
Jamahal Hill used to be one of the most dangerous men in the UFC Light Heavyweight Division. However, in 2025, he doesn’t look like too big a treat to such a fine fighter as Jiri Prochazka. We think the Czech fighter will beat him, probably early on, with a spectacular KO or TKO.
Pick: Jiri Prochazka
