Jake Nowry Joins SIS as Sales & Business Development Manager

The leading company offering content and services for the betting, greyhound and horse racing industry, Sports Information Services (SIS), announced a senior management level hire.
SIS Unveils New Senior-Level Hire
The company revealed on Friday that it hired Jake Nowry to serve as the sales and business development manager for its US subsidiary, SIS Content Services. As the position suggests, Nowry will be in charge of the growth and expansion of the company within the US market. As sales and business development manager he is expected to help SIS capitalize on opportunities and join forces with new retail and online operators by offering the company’s unique esports, greyhound and horse racing products.

Michele Fischer, SIS Content Services’ vice president, acknowledged that Nowry’s appointment reaffirms the expectation that there are unique opportunities within the esports betting industry. She acknowledged that Nowry has significant experience within the sports betting and horse racing industries which makes him an invaluable member of SIS and a key asset for the company’s expansion within the US market.
Nowry Brings Significant Knowledge and Experience
Richard Ames, the president of SIS Content services and CEO at SIS, revealed that the ongoing expansion of sports betting created new opportunities for growth within esports. He acknowledged that SIS noticed the significant potential for growth that lies within the esports market in the US. Ames predicted that Nowry will help accelerate the expansion and presence of SIS’s US-facing subsidiary. Last but not least, SIS’ CEO pointed out that Nowry’s professional experience and contacts within the industry will bring benefits to the company’s subsidiary.

Before joining SIS Content Services, Nowry was a part of Game Account Network, the leading B2B platform provider. His professional background includes experience with Sportech Racing, a leading pari-mutuel betting solutions provider. But this is not the only management-level hire announced by SIS recently. Previously, the company hired the services of Brenda Strickland who was appointed as regulatory and business affairs manager at SIS Content Services. Additionally, the company hired Sean Beirne as its US commercial manager.
