Jackpocket Player Wins $83.5M Lotto Texas Jackpot
The jackpot won on Monday night is the fifth largest ever won from Lotto Texas

The jackpot from Lotto Texas has been steadily growing since it was last won on June 26, 2024. However, surpassing 100 drawings only recently, the grand prize was won by a player who used a lottery courier app to purchase 10 entries for the game’s recent drawing.
As a result, the fortunate winner scored the mind-blowing jackpot of $83.5 million on Monday night.
$20 Turns Into $83.5M Jackpot Win
For the moment, the identity of the jackpot winner remains a mystery. However, what’s known so far is that the winning ticket was ordered via a lottery courier app popular across the US, Jackpocket. Using the app, the winner, bought 10 entries for the Lotto Texas drawing on February 17, 2025.
In total, the fortunate winner paid $20. Little did they know that this insignificant sum would bring a life-changing prize of more than $80 million. To win the Lotto Texas jackpot, the winner matched correctly the winning drawn numbers, 19, 21, 25, 45, 47 and 52.
As reported by the local media outlet, kxan, while the ticket was purchased via the lottery courier’s app, it was in fact processed at an Austin location called Winner’s Corner. The aforementioned lottery and board game store processes Jackpocket requests and has in fact sold nearly $130 million worth of tickets back in 2023.
The jackpot win comes after only recently, a class-action lawsuit accused Gary Grief, the former Texas lottery CEO, of helping a European syndicate win a $95 million jackpot. The former Lottery exec has denied the accusations.
The Jackpot Is the Fifth Largest from Lotto Texas
Last year, the leading gaming and betting brand, DraftKings, completed the acquisition of Jackpocket. Pete Sullivan, DraftKings’ SVP of lottery, said that it is exciting to see one of Jackpocket’s customers win such a mind-blowing prize.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate one of our dedicated Jackpocket customers winning one of the largest prizes ever won from a ticket ordered using a lottery courier app.“
Pete Sullivan, SVP of lottery at DraftKings
Sullivan added: “It’s always exciting when one of our customers hits a jackpot and joins the growing list of Texas winners who have won more than $1 million since 2021 from a ticket ordered using Jackpocket.” Finally, the executive said that such huge prizes remind that it is fun to play the lottery.
The recent jackpot is the fifth largest won from Lotto Texas. The biggest jackpot won from the popular game dates back to 2004. At the time, a winning ticket in El Paso won a staggering $145 million.
