Jackbit Casino and AskGamblers issued a clarification after a recent AskGamblers article celebrating an AskGamblers Casino Complaint Service (AGCCS) milestone mistakenly reported a $3.3 million refund in a resolved Jackbit complaint instead of the correct amount of $3,311.
The Mistake Serves as an Occasion to Update Complaint Procedures
The error arose from a clerical mistake during the submission process, in which a player inadvertently entered $3,311,000 instead of $3,311 when submitting their complaint via the AGCCS platform. This incorrect amount was then automatically reflected in AskGamblers’ published milestone list.
After reviewing the case post-publication, both organizations confirmed that the true refund total was $3,311. The complaint was resolved promptly, with Jackbit noting that its support team addressed the matter “swiftly and professionally.”
Recently, we reported that the organization has so far helped players recover a staggering $80 million. We also reported wrongfully that the organization had managed to secure the astonishing $3.3 million refund, which, as it now turns out, was a mistake.
AskGamblers also recognized the mistake, explaining that it occurred because the complaint data was automatically pulled into the milestone announcement. The organization stated that it will implement additional verification measures to ensure inaccurate figures are not included in future summaries, especially when unusually high amounts are flagged.
Both Organizations Will Continue to Work Together to Improve User Experience
The clarification came after both organizations conducted a joint review following an automated data entry mistake that resulted in the erroneous reporting of the alleged multi-million-dollar refund. AskGamblers stressed that the incident was an honest mistake on both sides, with no intentional misrepresentation involved.
According to a July 2025 update, the AGCCS has handled over 90,000 submissions since its launch, resolving more than 23,000 cases and returning upwards of $74 million to players. The report also noted growing daily recovery rates and a substantial year-on-year increase in the number of complaints processed.
Meanwhile, Jackbit affirmed its ongoing commitment to transparency and responsible practices, emphasizing the importance of clear communication with players throughout complaint investigations. Both organizations noted that the updated procedures will include cross-checking complaint amounts before publication, aiming to enhance the accuracy of public reports and data-driven milestones.
