Lionel Messi Is Back for Inter Miami

Lionel Messi didn’t travel with his Inter Miami teammates to Texas last weekend, but the Herons still managed to get a win. They proved to the world that they’re not a one-man army.

They destroyed Houston Dynamo 4:1, with two goals by Telasco Segovia, one by Tadeo Allende, and one by Luis Suarez.

What’s interesting is that Suarez was the assistant with three of those goals. The goal that he scored came as a result of an assist by his former Barcelona teammate, Sergio Busquets.

The only former Barca player who didn’t have a great game was left-back Jordi Alba. However, he wasn’t as bad as his colleague from the right side of the pitch, Ian Fray.

The 22-year-old American received a red card in that game, which is why he’ll miss Sunday’s Inter Miami vs. Charlotte game.
