Inter Miami vs. Atlas 2025 Leagues Cup Odds, Time, and Prediction

Inter Miami vs. Atlas is a 2025 Leagues Cup game that will take place at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Wednesday, July 30

Inter Miami won the Leagues Cup – a joint competition featuring MLS and Liga MX teams – two years ago when Lionel Messi led this club to its first-ever title. Last year, however, Messi wasn’t around to help the Heroes defend the title. He missed the tournament after suffering an injury while with Argentina at the Copa America.

Fast-forward to July 2025 and Messi is on the Inter Miami roster, which is why his team is the No. 1 favorite to win the Leagues Cup. BetOnline are giving +800 on Messi & Co., and those odds might get even shorter depending on how they perform in the first round.

Their first game of the tournament is on the program on Wednesday, July 30, when they welcome Mexican club Atlas in Florida.

Lionel Messi to Lead Inter Miami to (More) Glory?

The 2023 Leagues Cup triumph remains the biggest success in the history of the David Beckham-owned team. Since then, the Herons haven’t done much, but they do have huge ambitions in 2025. They want to win the MLS for the first time, as well as the Leagues Cup for the second.

Based on their recent form, they have every right to dream big. Obviously, Lionel Messi is their biggest star. He seems to be in a great place at the moment, especially after his former Barca teammates settled in Miami – Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets.

But apart from veterans, Inter Miami also has some rising stars that have been playing amazing soccer lately. Benjamin Cremaschi has been great in the midfield, alongside Federico Redondo and Telasco Segovia. At the back, Tomas Aviles and Gonzalo Lujan have been great, but there’s one problem – Inter Miami’s best goalie, Oscar Ustari, is out with a hamstring injury.

The 39-year-old goalkeeper might return in a few weeks’ time, but he probably won’t play on Wednesday. Does this mean Atlas stand a chance to score some goals?

Atlas are In Goal-Scoring Mood

Atlas started the new Liga MX season in top gear, scoring six goals in the first two rounds. It’s no surprise given that each of the top four most expensive players in the squad of the Guadalajara-based team are forwards – Matias Coccaro, Arturo Gonzales, Eduardo Aguirre, and Uros Djurdjevic.

Their defense, however, doesn’t seem that good, at least not good enough to stop Lionel Messi and the rest. That said, it seems that the only way the Mexicans can get anything out of this game is to try and outscore Inter Miami.

Inter Miami vs. Atlas Prediction

Our pick is Inter Miami, and we’re very confident about this bet. First of all, the Herons are in great form, especially when playing on home turf. Secondly, these guys care a lot about the Leagues Cup and would love to win it again. That’s why we predict they’ll start their campaign in top gear and grab a big win on Wednesday.

Pick: Inter Miami & Over 2.5 Goals
