Ibo Aslan will take on Ibo Baraniewski in the upcoming UFC 323 bout this weekend, with Aslan posted as the heavy underdog at (+160). Yet, Baraniewski’s lead at (-185) is not enough to guarantee him a certain victory, and Aslan has been showing himself to be a very capable fighter over his most recent bouts.
The question remains – can he stop Baraniewski’s winning streak of six victories? With a superior reach, Aslan stands a chance, but he will have to work fast against an opponent that has not been defeated in his professional UFC career so far.

Can Aslan Stop Baraniewski’s Undefeated Streak?
The question that lingers is whether Aslan can defeat his undefeated opponent. Baraniewski has broken into the competitive UFC with an undefeated score of six-nil, and he is now looking to further improve on his record, having earned himself quite a reputation.
Baraniewski has defeated a string of seasoned fighters, starting his debut against Uchytil, whom he took out by submission, before he switched to KO/TKO as his main method of victory for the following five fights.
From that point on, Baraniewski managed to close the next fight against dos Santos in a little over a minute and most recently emerged victorious against Aly in what was a 20-second bout before he KO/TKO’d his opponent.
Aslan’s main weakness comes not from some inherent athletic drawback, but because of his most recent performance. He is a fighter who, much like Baraniewski, prefers to KO/TKO his opponents, but he seems to lack a little in technique and is usually weak in submission attempts.
Aslan is also in two losses in 2025 back-to-back, which means that he is far from peak form right now. He lost to Elekana most recently in July by unanimous decision and to Cutelaba by submission.
The important thing is that he has not been taken out by a KO/TKO recently, and he has a much higher mileage than Baraniewski. In other words, if he can hold his own, Aslan is a good pick as an underdog.
Pick: Ibo Aslan (+160)
