Giannis Antetokounmpo Is Greece’s Ace Up the Sleeve
Led by coach Vassilis Spanoulis, the Greece national team would be a mediocre side if it weren’t for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Don’t get us wrong, his teammates are good players, who’d probably do okay at the EuroBasket, but with Giannis in the mix, the Greeks look capable of winning a medal.
Giannis is a GREAT LEADER 🙌🇬🇷

The Milwaukee Bucks superstar has been in great shape since coming to Europe, scoring at least 25 points in each game that he’s played so far at the 2025 EuroBasket.
As a reminder, he has played five games so far, and Greece won all of those. The only game that he didn’t play (against Bosnia and Herzegovina), his team lost.
Reasons Why EuroBasket 2025 Odds Favor Turkey
Turkey are 7-0 at the EuroBasket 2025, which includes a win over Serbia, the team that was the No. 1 favorite to win the trophy before the start of the tournament.
Turkey’s best player is Alperen Sengun, a center who’s been posting double-doubles throughout the tournament. Plus, in their most recent game, the Houston Rockets star recorded a triple-double.
He’s their best player, but they also have a couple of EuroLeague stars who have been pretty impressive since coming to Latvia. Cedi Osman has been great in key matches, while Shane Larkin’s been scoring a lot lately.
Greece vs. Turkey EuroBasket Prediction
Who’s gonna get to the EuroBasket 2025 Final? Bookies favor Turkey, but that’s only possible if they manage to stop Giannis. So, can they do it? We’re not so sure.
One thing is certain, though. Even if they pull it off, they won’t blow-out Greece. Instead, our prediction is that this is going to be a very, very close game, decided by only a couple of points. The trouble is that the spread is set to just 1.5 points.
The solution is to go with teasers to make the bet easier to win. Our teaser of choice for this game is Greece +4.5, which comes with -189 odds.
Pick: Greece +4.5
