GLI Promotes from Within with Andrea Bossard Appointed as VP, Engineering
The world-known certification and inspection company has seen a new veteran rise through the ranks to head an important part of its operations

Gaming Laboratories International, a global testing lab, has announced that it has appointed Andrea Bossard as its new VP, Engineering, her second promotion over the past year.
She is stepping up from her current position of Senior Director, Engineering, in the latest company appointment which has focused on promoting well-seasoned insiders to more consecutive roles within the firm.
GLI Relies on Experienced and Seasoned Veteran for New Role
In her new post, Bossard will be tasked with boosting GLI’s delivery strategy and performance for land-based suppliers, as well as regulators and global operators. Her appointment has been welcomed by GLI Chief Delivery Officer Mackenzie Haugh who had nothing but praise for her.
“Andrea’s warm and genuine approach, coupled with her vast market and technical knowledge, achieves this for both our team members and our customers. I am confident that her new role will bring even more success, and she will continue to inspire all of us around her.”
Bossard is also no chance pick either as she has been one of the longest-standing veterans within the company and has learned the ins and outs of operating within GLI.
She joined the company back in 2006 and has risen through the corporate hierarchy, having been responsible for multiple management roles as part of her career path within GLI.
Engineering Remains a Priority When It Comes to Appointments
Her own background is impressive, as she has a background in both mathematics and computer science, as well as QA testing.
Bossard was promoted in her last role in April 2024, when she assumed the role of Senior Director of Engineering.
This is not the first time GLI has tinkered with its VP team in Engineering either. At the beginning of last year, the firm appointed both Ginnie Hollis and Samantha Powell.
Although Fiona doesn't have a long-spanning background within the gambling industry, she is an incredibly skilled journalist who has built a strong interest in the constantly growing iGaming network. The team at Gambling News is glad to have her on our roster to help deliver the best stories as soon as they hit. Aside from writing, she loves to dabble in online casino games such as slots and roulette, both for her own enjoyment and also as research to better improve her understanding of the industry.
