Germany vs. Serbia 2024 Olympics Odds, Time, and Prediction
Germany vs. Serbia is the Bronze Medal match of the 2024 Olympic basketball tournament. The game is played on Saturday morning at Accor Arena in Paris

Germany vs. Serbia is a rematch of the FIBA World Cup Final from last year, which Germany won. Now, betting odds suggest Serbia will be the one to win. The main reason is that this team put on a vintage display in the semifinal against Team USA. Despite losing, they showed they’re one of the best national basketball teams on the planet.

Can Germany Beat Serbia Again?
After winning four games in a row, Germany was stopped by France in the semifinal. They lost the game 73:69, even though they were favored to win. Everyone expected them to do better offensively, but they scored under 70 points for the first time at the 2024 Games.
But there’s no doubt that this is a very good bunch of players. The evidence is that the German national basketball team is the champion of the world. The Germans won the FIBA World Cup a year ago after beating Serbia in the Final.
The final score was 83:77 and they hope they can do the same on Saturday. However, things are different now compared to last year – Nikola Jokic is playing for Serbia this time.
Serbia Going for the Medal
Serbia was nothing short of brilliant in the semifinal game against Team USA. They had a lead for 37 minutes, but then some controversial decisions by the referees caused them to lose their cool. Eventually, they lost the game 95:91. Nevertheless, it was a performance to be proud of as they were 17.5-point underdogs before the game.

As you’d expect, the reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic was their best player, who recorded another double-double. Their top scorer in that game was another NBA player, Bogdan Bogdanovic. Aleksa Avramovic also put on a good show, the same as Ognjen Dobric.
If they can put on another performance at the same level, they can easily beat Germany. The trouble is that they might be exhausted both physically and emotionally from the Team USA game.
Germany vs. Serbia Prediction
We think that Serbia is second only to Team USA when player quality is concerned. They did lose to Germany the last time they played, but that’s when they were without their best player Nikola Jokic. With him on the court, they should be able to beat Germany and get themselves Bronze.
Pick: Serbia
