Friends Walk into Casino, Place Single Number $100K Bet, Win $3.6M
A group of friends walked into a casino, bet a straight-up number, and won – this is not how the story usually goes

A group of gamblers arrived at a casino to quickly turned into an online sensation. How? The friends appeared to head straight for a roulette table and stream the whole thing. They plonked down $100,000 on a single number and won!
The payout, $3.6 million, was immediately awarded to the cheering and roaring bustle of friends, with onlookers issuing the occasional congratulatory remark for good measure. The video showed the people betting on a single number indeed.

It’s not really clear what caused the people to turn up at the casino, march to a single table, and bet on a specific number. People were hugging and immutable words were exchanged, as the camera shook, as the cameraman had a stake in it all.
But what happened? Netizens have decided to investigate and get to the bottom of everything. Some users were skeptical that the group just walked onto the premises, because casinos would not let you plonk down $100,000. Most roulette table limits are capped at $2,000, especially in the public gaming area.
But is this an issue? Not at all, as some gamblers may be entitled to have higher table limits opened for them. The casinos do agree to such requests on occasion as well. Does this matter? It sort of does. If this roulette win turns out to be genuine, and not just some crafty staging, then it would very well be the highest amount won in a single round of gambling in a land-based casino. The previous record is held by a gambler who wagered $35,000 – fittingly on roulette – to earn $3.5 million!
