Flutter Appoints Catherine Lynch as Chief People Officer UK & Ireland

Former Virgin Media chief people officer Catherine Lynch is set to become the new addition of Flutter Entertainment, performing in the same role for the UK and Ireland division of the gaming group.
All Aspects of Staff
Catherine Lynch will be tasked to oversee employment recruitment, selection and evaluation, all aspects of staff development and maintenance of relations between employer and employees for the division which includes Sky Betting and Gaming and Paddy Power and Betfair brands.
Catherine Lynch, who will have to report directly to divisional CEO Conor Grant, said in a social media post that she was eager to achieve great things for her new employer, while paying tribute to former colleagues.

Among the many who greeted Lynch for her new employment was Flutter Entertainment CEO Peter Jackson who welcomed the new chief people officer and told her to expect to be always busy at the firm.
Employment History
The last three years Catherine Lynch spent at the UK and Ireland division of the media broadcaster, and was part of the senior leadership team for Virgin Media’s parent company Liberty Global, where she was tasked with the personnel aspects of key operational initiatives including the divestment of assets such as the Eastern European and German-based Liberty business to Vodafone and the acquisition of new businesses and their successful integration like the Arquiva business.
Catherine Lynch, who holds an MSc in Human Resource Management and Services from the Buckinghamshire University, has vast experience in the field of human resources. Her career includes roles at Tesco, House of Fraser and Sainsbury’s before switching to the banking sector with Santander and Barclays, and then to the insurance business with BGL Group and Towergate Insurance.
