Fanatics Betting & Gaming has grabbed headlines by confirming a new tie-up in the Philippines, where it is teaming up with Claymore Solutions.

Fanatics to Get Help from World-Beating Support Company

The deal focuses on support for regulated gaming operations such as the ones the company runs in North America, and which will now be further able to hone its offer back at home through the addition of Claymore Solution’s team of experts.

The partnership with Claymore Solutions allows the North American brand to team up with an accredited local company which has a license from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) to operate as a Special Class BPO, allowing the company to provide various services for Fanatics Betting & Gaming, short of offering gambling products itself.

Among the support that the company will extend to Fanatics are HR, payroll, recruitment options, and more. Dedicated offices in Taguig City have been set up by Claymore Solutions, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Fanatics Betting and Gaming CTO Ian Botts and CFO Andrea Ellis, joined by Claymore Solutions Chairman and co-founder Paul Fox and co-founder Nathan Kinsella.

PAGCOR chairman Al Tengco was similarly pleased with this opportunity, arguing that the country was quickly shaping up as a premier destination for outsourcing such crucial services that make-or-break gaming companies abroad.

“We are witnessing the beginning of a transformative chapter in the Philippine BPO sector, with Special Class BPOs like Claymore leading the charge,” Tengco said

“It’s a real honor to help open this beautiful new space. It represents so much more than just desks and whiteboards – it’s a physical symbol of a partnership that’s been years in the making,” added Fanatics Betting and Gaming CFO Andrea Ellis.

Philippines Wants to Be a Hub for Gaming Support & Services

Fox was similarly pleased to see his company have the opportunity to launch a new partnership with Fanatics, hailing it as one of the fastest-growing brands in the United States.

The Philippines is keen to attract more overseas investment, including in high-tech sectors and back-office services, with the country’s own track record in regulating online gambling a little patchy, but the Philippines has enough trained and skilled workers to support overseas ventures in highly demanding markets, all the same.
