Everton FC Welcomes Stake.com as Its Main Partner

Everton FC, a British soccer club, has inked a club-record partnership agreement with Stake.com. The deal will see the gambling company as the team’s main sponsor, effectively replacing Cazoo.
Stake.com Named Main Partner of Everton FC
The partnership will officially start on July 1 and will see Stake.com’s logo put on the front of Everton’s players’ jerseys. The agreement covers both the club’s men’s and women’s teams. In addition, Stake.com’s logo will be promoted all across Goodison Park and Finch Farm, Everton’s home stadium and training grounds respectively. Lastly, Everton will promote Stake.com on all of its digital platforms.
In return, Everton FC will receive $12.5 million per season. This is notably the biggest sponsorship deal the soccer club has ever signed. If follows an expansion of the club’s commercial team as Everton strives to generate more revenue. In order to secure the deal with Stake.com, Everton had to end its partnership with Cazoo prematurely.
Stake.com is a fairly new name in the world of iGaming but has now become a true powerhouse. The company was established in 2017 after which it quickly cemented its place as the largest online casino. The company is licensed in numerous regulated jurisdictions and has sports partners all over the world. Moreover, the company boasts a strong lineup of brand ambassadors, such as the famous singer Drake, the UFC athletes Jose Aldo and Israel Adesanya and the soccer superstar Sergio Aguero.
Both Sides Are Looking Forward to Working Together
Everton FC’s chief executive officer, Denise Barrett-Baxendale, commented on the partnership with the gambling juggernaut. She lauded Stake.com as an “ambitious organization with impressive growth plans.” Barrett-Baxendale added that the whole Everton team is looking forward to working with the operator.
Everton’s CEO also addressed the club’s revenue team, praising them for securing the biggest main partnership deal in the club’s history. She thanked Stake.com as well, saying that Everton is proud to be the gambling company’s long-term partner.
Lastly, Barrett-Baxendale teased that Everton and Stake.com have begun working on collaborative projects that they will soon reveal to fans.
Akhil Sarin, the head of acquisitions at Stake.com, also shared his thoughts. He called Everton a “club steeped in tradition” and said that it is an honor to work with it. Sarin is glad to be able to support the club as it transitions to a new stadium. He is looking forward to “celebrating the most exciting chapter in the team’s history.”
The deal is also in line with Stake.com’s overall global expansion strategy.
Everton is a club that perfectly complements our own growth ambitions as we seek to expand our presence globally and strengthen our top-tier sports sponsorship portfolio.

In 2020, Everton FC officials said they would have preferred to not have gambling partners if it was possible. Despite that, the deal with Stake.com is sure to benefit the club.
