EGBA Unveils European Safer Gambling Week 2023 Dates
The EGBA is pleased to run another edition of the European Safer Gambling Week and promote a “strong culture of safer gambling.”
The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) has unveiled the dates for this year’s edition of the European Safer Gambling Week, an annual initiative that seeks to promote responsible gambling.
According to the EGBA, the event will run from November 13 to 19 this year and will welcome 15 online gambling associations. This will notably be the third edition of the cross-border initiative in Europe.
As usual, European Safer Gambling Week will be coordinated by the EGBA and its members which will seek to promote safer gambling in the region. The 15 associations that will take part in the initiative will partake in a variety of activities and events.
The European Safer Gambling Week will not only see the EGBA promote responsible gaming but the association will also highlight the latest developments in safer gambling regulation and research.
While the EGBA did not share much more besides the date, it promised to talk more about the event as it approaches.
The Association Is Excited about the Initiative
The secretary general of the EGBA, Maarten Haijer, released a statement on the matter, sharing his association’s excitement about the announcement. He said that the EGBA is pleased by the opportunity to run another edition of the European Safer Gambling Week and promote a “strong culture of safer gambling.”
Haijer said that EGBA and its members will once again join forces to promote safer gambling in Europe, which will be a great opportunity to spread a positive message.
The initiative provides a fantastic opportunity for Europe’s gambling sector to come together to promote an issue of common importance: safer gambling.
