A Hartford man in Connecticut has won the $4,000,000 Fortune game, snagging the top prize from the draw. The person behind the win has already contacted the lottery and spoke with representatives, saying that he was thrilled for this spot of good luck to have come his way.
$4M Jackpot Drops for Hartford Resident
Apparently, the winner, who chose to remain anonymous, had been playing the $4,000,000 Fortune game for a while before the major prize dropped for them – he has been playing since December 2023, when the game was introduced, so for more than a year already!
All the same, the person said that this is an opportunity to “reset his life” and use the money for self-improvement. On the person’s to-do list is the ambition to pursue a higher education degree. The man did not hide that he had been playing the lottery with the ambition to actually win the top prize and turn his life around.
The fact that he will now use the money to pursue personal growth rather than coast on the money is worth admiration, too. As to the winning ticket itself, it was sold at the Mobil gas station on Weston Street in Hartford, with the shop also getting a $40,000 premium.
At the end of March, the Connecticut Lottery also announced that a $2 million winning lottery ticket sold at the Tejeda Grocery Store in Hartford was finally claimed. During that same month, a person also won a $10.8 million jackpot and opted for the cash option of $7,785,757.
The winner was a Wilton resident and had bought the ticket locally, at PVC Gulf on Danbury Road.
