CNBC to Add Kalshi Prediction Data to 2026 Coverage

CNBC will start using real-time probability data from Kalshi next year, bringing the prediction-market platform’s insights into its broadcasts and website.

Klashi, the largest prediction market in the world, has announced it will team up with CNBC in a multi-year partnership aimed at bringing real-time prediction-market data to its TV shows, digital channels, and subscription platforms starting in 2026

“Powerful Complement to CNBC’s Reporting”

The move is a first for a major financial newsroom and aims to give viewers and readers a fresh way to understand key economic, political, and financial events.

Kalshi provides “accurate, real-time information on the likelihood of events, making humanity more informed about the future”. Those outcomes range from elections and economic indicators to cultural events and other high-impact news.

Over the years, Kalshi has become a go-to source for investors, journalists, policymakers, and the general public looking for market-driven insights about the future.

Under the deal, the “world leader in business news” that “provides real-time financial market coverage and business content consumed by nearly half a billion people per month across all platforms” will integrate Kalshi’s data into programs like “Squawk Box” and “Fast Money”. This will give viewers a live look at how event probabilities shift in real time

A ticker featuring Kalshi’s predictions will run alongside segments, and a dedicated page on CNBC’s website will highlight selected markets, providing additional context and analysis for those who want to dig deeper.

“It’s the Next Evolution”

“Prediction markets are rapidly shaping how investors and business leaders think about important events,” said KC Sullivan, president of CNBC. “Kalshi’s data will serve as a powerful complement to CNBC’s reporting and help people stay better informed about the world around them.”

Kalshi chief executive officer Tarek Mansour emphasized how the partnership blends traditional reporting with forward-looking insights.

“The world of finance depends on real-world outcomes; Kalshi predicts those outcomes,” he said. “Together with CNBC, we’ll bring accurate, market-driven predictions to financial reporting. It’s the next evolution: moving from data about what’s happening now, to real-time forecasts about what’s happening next.”

As a result of the new collaboration, CNBC will strive to give its audiences a new lens on unfolding events by showing them not just what has happened, but also what the markets expect to happen next.

Kalshi, on the other hand, will step further on the path to bringing prediction-market insights into the mainstream while reaching global audiences and offering them practical ways to regard the way their forecasts compare to the world’s largest financial newsroom.
