ClutchBet Names Auriemma as VP of Engineering

Sports betting operator ClutchBet has reinforced its engineering team with Joshua Auriemma. The latter is joining the sportsbook as vice president of engineering and will help the company maintain and expand its infrastructure.
Joshua Auriemma Joins ClutchBet
Auriemma is well-versed in his field, having previously worked as an engineering worker at various gaming and non-gaming companies. He is a knowledgeable professional who did his studies the Penn State University.
Auriemma’s career started at the online legal researcher Fastcase. His recent experience includes a three-year tenure as a software engineer at Warner Bros Digital Labs from 2015 to 2018. After that, he had a short stint as the senior software engineer of The Meet Group, a provider of livestreaming video and creator economy solutions.
In May 2019, Auriemma joined the gaming sector with Penn National Gaming. He served as Penn Interactive’s vice president of engineering, overseeing the engineering department which has over 300 workers. He was responsible for Barstool Sportsbook & Casino’s operations and was tasked with overseeing loyalty integrations with retail sportsbooks.
As ClutchBet’s VP of engineering, Auriemma will be responsible for overseeing the operator’s infrastructure. His touch will be crucial for expanding the ClutchBet brand and turning it into one of the leading online sports betting operators in the United States.
Auriemma Is Excited to Start
Auriemma spoke about his new role, saying that his work with the operator will open a new chapter in his life. The appointee is excited to lend his talents to the disruptor company as it strives to become a leading force in US sports wagering.
Auriemma noted that ClutchBet joined the US market fairly recently but despite that, is backed by a team with years of experience in offering sports betting at an international level. He believes he will learn a lot while working with the sportsbook.
While still a new business in the States, ClutchBet has decades of know-how in growing and running sportsbooks internationally and I’m looking forward to an exchange of ideas as we look to build something special and lasting in the US

Bill Richmond, the chief executive officer of BlueBet, ClutchBet’s parent company, welcomed the new hire to the team.
Josh designed and built both the infrastructure and team behind one of the most recognizable sportsbooks in the US and to bring him and his expertise to ClutchBet as we expand in the States is incredible and a sign of how seriously we’re taking our US expansion.

In other news, ClutchBet just launched an innovative player matchup parlay product in Iowa.
