Club Pro Guy (CPG) is back in the game, and he’s bringing a new partner with him.
The satirical golf pro, beloved for his absurd takes on the game and fictional ventures like Three Jack National and the Second Hold Foundation, has struck a deal with Kalshi, the prediction market platform that lets users bet on everything from touchdowns to tectonic shifts.
“The Future First Tee at Three Jack National”
After a brief hiatus from social media last fall, CPG resurfaced in April with an announcement: he’s reentering the spotlight, this time with a “lucrative partnership” with Kalshi.
In true CPG fashion, he made the reveal in a video shot along I-635, claiming it to be the “future first tee at Three Jack National,” his long-promised-but-never-happening semi-private club.
“Hey everybody, Club Pro Guy here coming to you live from the future first tee at Three Jack National,” he says in the video. “I’ve signed a lucrative partnership agreement with Kalshi, the premier prediction market in the industry.”
Kalshi’s collaboration with CPG comes as the platform navigates regulatory challenges across the country.
Despite that, Kalshi has managed to stay operational nationwide, thanks to oversight from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
“I Can Wager on Really Stupid Things”
Unlike traditional sportsbooks, Kalshi offers yes/no wagers on a wide array of real-world events, which it defends as derivatives rather than gambling.
CPG, known for his love of action, sees this as a perfect fit. “Kalshi is the only place where I can wager on really stupid things like the bet I placed last night on whether Mount Spurr in Alaska will erupt before July 1st.”, he argued.
“I don’t know sh*t about volcanoes but I’ve got a hunch about this particular mountain and that it’s about to blow,” he further explained in his latest video.
Despite placing most of his new content behind a $5/month paywall, CPG still dishes out free social snippets, and he’s not shy about encouraging fans to follow his betting instincts.
“You’ve always trusted me with your golf game. Now, I’m asking you to trust me by wagering your hard-earned money on obscure future events,” he says.Kalshi, meanwhile, continues to expand its presence, recently fending off legal challenges in both New Jersey and Nevada.
