Christina Kilström Is Svenska Spel’s Tur New Head of Marketing and Sales

Svenska Spel, a Swedish operator, has hired Christina Kilström as head of Sales and Marketing of Tur, its lottery and games division.

As head of marketing and sales, Christina Kilström will take the lead for Tur’s games and lotteries. She will manage brands such as Keno, Triss, Lotto, and Eurojackpot. Kilström joins Svenska Spel’s management team after being a director of ‘Marketing and Communications’ at Stochholm exhibition center, Stockholmsmässan.
Business Area Manager for Svenska Spel Tur, Anna Romboli, stated that brands need to adapt quickly in today’s dynamic world. Their main focus should be on customer behavior.
Christina Kilström With a Solid Background and Inspiring Outlook for the Future
With her academic knowledge of economics and digital strategy, as well as vast experience in digital development and customer behavior, Kilström has the right equipment for rapid changes in the industry. She was the Head of Marketing & Communications at eBay Sweden before becoming the Nordic Director Customer Experience at Vattenfall Sverige and later taking the position of CMO at Stockholmsmässan.
Romboli said that she is happy to welcome Christina to “the dream factory of Svenska Spel Tur” and concluded that Kilström’s background from Coca-Cola, eBay, Vattenfall, and Stockholmsmässan, make her a great asset to the company.
Kilström also said that she looks forward to working at Svenska Spel. Her goal would be to sustainably develop the future of gaming. Especially now when the demand for sales and marketing is even more present worldwide. She said she finds the new venture exciting, fun, and inspiring. Kilström commented on the company’s record year with its million winnings, connection to sport, and strong position on the market of brands like Lotto and Triss. The company realizes small and big dreams.
Svenska Spel Continues on Its Journey to Growth and Success
The Swedish State-owned gaming company continues to strike new partnerships on its mission to growth and success. The company recently launched a new sportsbook platform built by DraftKings, a US sports betting operator. The platform is entirely focused on customer experience.
The company published its trading results for last year. Records showed growth in revenue for lotteries, sports betting, and number games in the last quarter.
Svenska Spel’s goal is to create a fun and sustainable but also a safe gaming environment. At the end of 2020, the company extended its long-term partnership deal with the Swedish Sports Confederation (SSF) for two more years. With this collaboration, the two companies will focus on detecting and preventing match-fixing.
