Chelsea’s Odds Suggest a Demolition Job on June 16

After winning the UEFA Conference League, Chelsea’s next goal is to win the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. It’s not going to be easy as competition is fierce, but the Blues seem determined to give their utmost. The thing is that their roster is very young, with players hungry for success.

Being young doesn’t mean inexperience. Most of Chelsea’s players have been playing at a top level for years. Their best player is playmaker Cole Palmer, a 23-year-old who made his Premier League debut three years ago.

Chelsea also have 24-year-old World Cup-winning midfielder Enzo Fernandez, as well as Moises Caicedo (23), Noni Madueke (23), and many others. In fact, it seems that for every position on the field, Chelsea have at least one amazing player.

Can Los Angeles FC’s Veterans Put on a Good Show on Monday?

LAFC have been doing okay this season in the 2025 MLS. They’re 7-5-4 with a 30:23 score difference. Their top scorer – and their most in-form player – is forward Denis Bouanga. This guy is a scoring machine, but he doesn’t have as much experience with big tournaments despite being 30 already.

On the bright side for LAFC, they have several veterans who’ve been in the soccer-playing business for over two decades. Olivier Giroud might be past his prime, but this guy is famous for doing great in big games.

The same goes for LAFC’s goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and the team captain, Aaron Long, who’s a hell of a defender – especially when his team needs him.

Chelsea vs. Los Angeles FC Prediction

We think this is going to be a fantastic game, with plenty of exciting moments to make the fans enjoy. LAFC definitely looks capable of scoring, but we don’t think a goal or two will be enough to get anything out of this game.

Our prediction is that Chelsea’s forwards will get into a scoring mood and run riot on LAFC’s defense.
