Casino and Hotel Mogul Tilman Fertitta Lists $192M Superyacht for Sale
The billionaire spent several months living aboard Boardwalk before relocating to Villa Taverna, the official residence of the US ambassador to Italy, in early August

Houston billionaire Tilman Fertitta, owner of the Landry’s restaurant and hospitality empire, the NBA’s Houston Rockets, as well as chairman and chief executive officer of Red Rock Resorts, is parting ways with his 250-foot (76.5-meter) superyacht named Boardwalk. He also announced plans for buying a much larger 384-foot (117-meter) vessel.
Fertitta Is Selling His Yacht
Fertitta is asking $192 million for the seven-cabin yacht, which offers accommodations for up to 14 guests and 22 crew members. It cruises at a speed of 15 knots (approximately 17 mph) and can reach a top speed of 18 knots (around 21 mph). According to Boat International, Boardwalk is celebrated for its combination of high-quality European craftsmanship and clever yet stylish American design. The yacht was constructed by the Dutch shipyard Feadship, with its design handled by Feadship’s Studio De Voogt in collaboration with De Voogt Naval Architects.
The yacht’s lower aft deck is designed for wellness and adventure, featuring a beach club and fitness area, along with a dive and watersports locker that provides a wide range of leisure activities. Above, the sundeck stands out with a mosaic-tiled pool. Meanwhile, the elevated observation deck offers sweeping panoramic views, allowing guests to take in the surrounding seascape fully. Boardwalk seamlessly combines practical design with sophisticated elegance, making her a true standout in the realm of luxury yachts, according to the broker.
As Fertitta is selling his yacht at the end of the summer, it should be said that it has been a busy season for the billionaire. For example, he was preparing an expansion into Las Vegas, but last month he decided to set aside plans for a Strip venue, citing a conflict of interest as the main reason.
Fertitta’s Fondness for Luxury Yachts Is Well Known
The billionaire spent several months living aboard Boardwalk before relocating to Villa Taverna, the official residence of the US ambassador to Italy, in early August. He has also tapped into the value of Boardwalk and possibly another yacht to boost personal liquidity. Financial disclosures from his ambassadorial confirmation process reveal a $50 million yacht-secured loan from Bank of America in 2019, along with another $50 million loan backed by a vessel in 2024 from Deutsche Bank. With an estimated net worth of $10.5 billion, Fertitta is well-positioned to cover those obligations.
However, it seems that the love for yachts runs in the Fertitta family. His third cousin, Frank Fertitta III, was the former owner of Viva, a $175 million superyacht also built by Feadship. The vessel was later sold to hedge fund billionaire Ken Griffin.
