Tottenham have a 3:1 advantage from the first leg in London, but they need to take the May 8 game very seriously as Bodo/Glimt can be a tricky opponent. This goes especially when it comes to Bodo’s games played in Norway – these guys won eight of their last 10 home games, scoring two or more goals each time.

Bodo/Glimt Ready for War
Bodo/Glimt has a roster that’s almost 20 times less valuable than the one of Tottenham. But this team’s value is also much lower than Lazio, which is the team they knocked out of the Europa League in the previous round.
The key behind Bodo/Glimt’s success this season is their attacking-minded style of play. These guys always go for a goal, no matter who they’re playing against. The result is that they sometimes get hammered, but they also sometimes slay some big giants – as they did against Lazio.
They tried to play offensive-minded soccer against the Spurs on May 1 as well, but it did not go according to their play. Although they did have the ball in their possession for longer than the English side, they managed to make just three goal attempts. In comparison, the Spurs made 24 goal chances that day.
On the bright side for Bodo/Glimt, one of their three goal chances produced a goal. If they can get more creative on May 8, we could see them find the net more than once.
Failure is Not an Option for the Spurs
This has been a horrible season for the Spurs, who are currently in the 16th spot in the English Premier League. With just three rounds left, they can’t improve their position much, meaning that it’s very likely this is going to be one of their worst finishes in the history of the Prem.
But they can salvage their campaign by getting to the final of the 2025 Europa League. They’re very close to getting there as they just need not lose by more than two goals. It sounds relatively easy to achieve, which is why, if they fail, it’s gonna be seen as a disaster.
That said, if the Spurs lose to Bodo/Glimt and get knocked out of the competition, coach Ange Postecoglou will almost certainly get fired. And we could also see a few players lose their contracts.
Bodo/Glimt vs. Tottenham Prediction
We’re 100% certain that Bodo/Glimt will play way more offensively than the last time around. As a result, they should be able to find the net at least once.
But this game is of huge importance to Tottenham as well, so expect the Spurs to go for the net as well. For all these reasons, “Over 2.5 Goals” looks like a certainty.
Pick: Over 2.5 Goals
