Betr is one of the latest companies to attempt and capture more eyeballs by reaching out to different audiences, and specifically NASCAR fans. NASCAR is also interested in whipping up excitement for betting that involves its races as this translates into better viewership.
For its part, Betr has been a go-getter of a platform. Founded by Joey Levy and Jake Paul, the platform has sought to establish itself as a micro-betting platform first but has ventured into traditional sports betting markets more or less while seeking to strike home with new audiences at the same time.
Betr is already enjoying a strong player base with hundreds of thousands of paying customers, and the platform’s media arm, Betr Media, is one of the fastest-growing sports betting media brands in the United States, with 8.7 million followers already.
Betr has not shied away from opportunities, having previously teamed up with Hawk Tuah Girl who joined Betr Media. Hawk Tuah Girl was later embroiled in a controversy whereby she was accused of “rug-pulling” a crypto project.
Hailey Welch, the real name of Hawk Tuah Girl’s podcast, however, has been discontinued it appears, as no new episodes have been added in 2025.
