BetGames Becomes Latest Supplier to Secure AGCO License
BetGames, a leading live dealer supplier of betting games, has obtained a license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). The license effectively enables the company to provide its full array of products to the fast-developing market. BetGames will seek to establish itself on the market with popular games, such as Lucky 7 and Lucky 5, which are forthcoming.

The company also has Starzle, an Entain exclusive. BetGames is looking forward to launching with some of the biggest local operators in a bid to ensure that players have access to exciting options across the board and experience some of the most fulfilling products available to them.
Ontario is definitely a market that suppliers and operators have been focusing their efforts. While results have been fairly tepid so far, the hope is that Ontario will pick up in terms of betting and iGaming activity proportionate to its population. It may be a while before these forms of entertainment become popular, however.
Meanwhile, BetGames CEO Andreas Koeberl said that the team was delighted to be entering Ontario and exploring the opportunities brought around by this opportunity. BetGames is also counting to appeal to a new demographic through its proprietary betting products.
Ontario’s regulated market is showing a lot of promise, we’re thrilled to be onboard and be part of the excitement around this recently regulated market.

BetGames is confident that it will continue to expand its regional footprint and that it will be a force to reckon with in international markets. The company has obtained a number of important licensing accreditations in places such as South Africa and from regulators such as the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission. BetGames expanded in South Africa with a Sahara Games partnership earlier this month.
