Betfred Sports Teams up with OpenBet in Iowa

Betfred Sports has turned to OpenBet, a provider of sports betting entertainment solutions, in Iowa. As a result, OpenBet has been able to launch its digital and retail technology solutions that will now assist the operator in the state.
Betfred Sportsbook Boosts Digital and Retail Offers
The technology is live at the Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort where the Betfred Sportsbook is and where the OpenBet-powered self-service kiosks and retail solutions are based. The resort is a state-of-the-art venue sprawling over 3,500 square feet. Betfred Sports COO Bryan Bennett commented on this partnership:
OpenBet’s products and technology perform consistently across our existing locations, so naturally, we entrusted the company to power our offering in Iowa. We first launched in Iowa in 2020, and we look forward to working with OpenBet to continue building on that success.

OpenBet further adds to the retail experience by making sure that the digital technology creates omni-channel experiences. This way, sports fans are able to juggle between different channels of the betting experience. OpenBet is bringing a platform that supports a range of betting experiences as well, including in-game wagering, teasers, player props, futures, parlays, and more.
OpenBet Happy to Extend Partnership with Betfred
Commenting on this launch, OpenBet chief commercial officer Cathryn Lai said that the company was delighted to be launching together with Betfred Sports, following up on previous partnerships in Arizona, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, and Colorado:
This deal is once again a testament to our outstanding modular portfolio which is able to consistently meet the demands of the market, earning an accomplished reputation throughout the industry. Betfred Sports remains a valued partner of ours and we look forward to providing yet more exciting and responsible experiences for its players.
