Betfred and We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort Opened Betfred Sportsbook

Betfred USA Sports and the We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort in Arizona announced the opening of the new sportsbook at the property powered by the European-based gaming group.

‘Best Game-Watching and Betting Experiences’

Betfred Sportsbook, a modern sportsbook facility featuring state-of-the-art 4K video walls and displays, four wagering terminals and strategically located around the property betting kiosks, is now open to bettors in the Grand Canyon State.

Bryan Bennett, chief operating officer of the gaming group’s US subsidiary, emphasized the role of the partnership with the tribal casino resort and WKP Sports in helping Betfred expand its presence in Arizona.

“As a team, we set out early to create one of the best game-watching and betting experiences in the state, and we’re confident we’ve accomplished that goal,” Bennett concluded.

Betfred Sportsbook is a product of the collaboration between Betfred and the casino property located on Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation tribal land which began back in August 2021 when the parties signed a deal to bring sports betting to Arizona.

In November, Betfred and the We-Ko-Pa property made the first step towards opening the branded retail sportsbook by introducing the self-service kiosks.

Multiple Viewing Options, Variety of Food and Beverage

Betfred Sportsbook offers sports fans a massive Planar 4K direct view LED video wall, 47′ wide and 9′ tall, capable of showing three separate games side-by-side. Each of those three screens can be further split into four separate sections capable of accommodating pictures from up to 12 games simultaneously.

‘We took our time in creating our new Sportsbook,” explained table games director for the We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort Kirk Brumbaugh, outlining the ambition of the property’s management to learn from those who came before them and take the new facility to the “next level of gaming experience” by maximizing resources and leveraging all the latest advancements in the field.

Open just in time for the football season, the Betfred Sportsbook promises sports fans unmatched gaming experiences, while the WKP Sports & Entertainment full-service sports bar will contribute to the exciting atmosphere, offering a variety of food and beverage options, including more than 45 draft beers, signature cocktails, beer cocktails, premium spirits, adult milkshakes, and others.

The Betfred Sportsbook at the We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort in Arizona is the second retail sportsbook the US subsidiary of the sports betting and gaming group has opened lately, coming shortly after Betfred, in partnership with the Lummi Nation, opened the Betfred Sportsbook at the Silver Reef Casino Resort in Ferndale, Washington.
