A man was arrested and could go to jail for life after attempting to sell thousands of fentanyl pills. According to the US Attorney’s Office, District of New Mexico, in September 2025, 35-year-old D.A.H., Jr. started messaging an undercover agent from the Isleta Police Department on Facebook about the sale of thousands of fentanyl pills.
Meetup at Isleta Resort and Casino
Court documents say that the undercover agent convinced the Arizona man, a suspected drug dealer under the “Minkx Apesquad” pseudonym, to meet him in the Isleta Resort and Casino’s parking lot on the Pueblo of Isleta in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.
The undercover agent had previously sent a direct message to the account associated with the dealer via photos and other identifying information. The message said: “Ayy yooo, you gonna b coming through the 505 anytime soon? I need sum dat good [bean emoji].”
As stated in the official complaint, “beans” represent fentanyl pills in street jargon. On
On October 29, the agent received the following reply from “Minkx Apesquad”: “Hit me asap.”
After the two exchanged phone numbers, the agent kept communicating with the individual believed to be H. throughout the day, negotiating a deal to buy ten “boats” (slang for bags containing 1,000 fentanyl pills) in exchange for $10,000.
When H. showed up, he was immediately taken into custody by a coordinated team including the Isleta Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations, the Bureau of Indian Affairs Office of Justice Services, U.S. Marshals, New Mexico State Police, and the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office.
The Man Risks Life in Prison
After his arrest, a K9 unit from the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office conducted an open-air sniff of H.’ vehicle and signaled the presence of drugs.
A search of the car uncovered a large sum of US currency and about 4,102 grams of fentanyl pills. H. now faces charges of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
He remains in custody, and a trial date has not yet been set. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
Acting U.S. Attorney Ryan Ellison and Shawn Stallo, Acting Special Agent in Charge of HSI El Paso, announced the arrest.
The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations in El Paso, with support from multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Isleta Police Department, Bureau of Indian Affairs Office of Justice Services, U.S. Marshals, New Mexico State Police, and the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul Mysliwiec will handle the prosecution.
