Aristocrat Unveils Leadership Appointments, Including New Interactive CEO

In addition to a new CEO of the Aristocrat Interactive division, the company said that Barry French has been appointed as its new chief corporate affairs & marketing officer

Aristocrat Leisure Limited, an Australian gambling machine manufacturer, has unveiled changes to the leadership of its Aristocrat Interactive division and Group Corporate Affairs & Marketing team. These include the appointment of a new Aristocrat Interactive CEO, as well as the designation of a new chief corporate affairs & marketing officer.

Dylan Slaney Replaces Moti Malul as Interactive CEO

According to the company’s official announcement, the experienced Dylan Slaney will replace Moti Malul as CEO of Aristocrat Interactive. This comes ahead of Malul’s scheduled exit from the company in March 2026. The company said that the new CEO will step into the office on November 3, although Malul will remain on board for a few more months to ensure a smooth transition.

Aristocrat said that Slaney’s appointment comes in the wake of a “comprehensive global search.” The Australian company described the appointee as a “proven iGaming executive” with more than a decade of global leadership experience in the gaming sector.

Aristocrat noted that, prior to joining its team, Slaney served as CEO of Light & Wonder’s iGaming business. He has also held leadership roles at the likes of NYX, SG Digital, and dunnhumby.

According to Aristocrat, Slaney’s track record of driving operational excellence and transformative growth made him a perfect candidate for the Interactive CEO role.

The announcement confirmed that Slaney will be based in London.

Barry French Joins as Chief Corporate Affairs & Marketing Officer

In the meantime, Aristocrat said that Barry French has been appointed as its new chief corporate affairs & marketing officer with immediate effect. In this position, he will succeed the outgoing chief corporate affairs officer, Natalie Toohey, who is leaving after almost seven years in the position.

Just like the outgoing Interactive CEO, Toohey will ensure a smooth transition and will support the new appointee.

Aristocrat said that French is a seasoned corporate affairs and marketing executive who boasts some 35 years of leadership experience across multiple sectors and markets. He joins Aristocrat from Inmarsat, where he served as chief marketing and telecommunications officer. Prior to that, he occupied the same role at Nokia.

Aristocrat said that French will be based in Las Vegas.

CEO Croker Welcomed the New Appointees on Board

Both new appointees will report directly to Trevor Croker, Aristocrat Group’s chief executive officer and managing director. In addition to their new roles, the two will join the Executive Steering Committee.

Croker welcomed the two appointees on board, saying that their appointment would help Aristocrat “accelerate the delivery of its strategy.”

I am delighted to welcome leaders of the caliber of Dylan and Barry to the Aristocrat executive team. Both are values-led leaders with collaborative, customer-centric mindsets.

Trevor Croker, CEO, Aristocrat

Croker said that Slaney’s profound understanding of iGaming and French’s experience in fostering reputation and stakeholder relationships will be important assets to Aristocrat. The CEO added that he is thankful to Malul and Toohey for their incredible contributions.
