Another $1M Lottery Win in the Wake of $536M Mega Millions Jackpot

The Powerball game in Illinois produced another winner on Wednesday, March 11, with the Illinois Lottery announcing that another $1,000,000 jackpot has been secured.

According to the lottery, a single ticket holder is now eligible to claim the winnings, with the numbers that have won listed as 3, 6, 55, 58, and 63. The ticket itself was purchased at BCD Liquors at 10S622 Kingery Hwy, Willowbrook, Illinois.

Because the venue has sold the winning ticket, it will also be eligible for a 1% premium amounting to $10,000 based on the current jackpot prize. 

The jackpot came only a day after the lottery announced that someone in the state took home the $536-million jackpot from the Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday, March 10.

Excellent jackpot stories have come from other places as well, including a record-setting Jersey 5 Cash game in New Jersey, which fetched $3.4 million to its winner.

Beyond the pond, in the United Kingdom, Allwyn, the national lottery operator, announced that a single ticket had won the $243-million Euro Millions jackpot, the third-largest in the country.
