Amanda Ribas vs. Tabatha Ricci UFC Abu Dhabi Odds, Time, and Prediction
Amanda Ribas vs. Tabatha Ricci is the only women’s fight on the UFC on ABC 9 card. Also known as UFC Abu Dhabi, this event will take place on July 26 at Etihad Arena in the United Arab Emirates

Amanda Ribas lost three of her last four fights, but UFC Abu Dhabi odds suggest she’s gonna get back on the right track. Priced at -168, she’s expected to beat Tabatha Ricci a.k.a. Baby Shark. But taking this fight lightly could come and bite her, as Ricci is famously a tough fighter who never gives up.
Amanda Ribas vs. Tabatha Ricci Odds
Moneyline | Odds |

Amanda Ribas | -168 |
Tabatha Ricci | +148 |
When, Where, and How to Watch?
- Place: Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Date: Saturday, July 26, 2025
- Time: 2:00 p.m. ET
- How to Watch: ABC
Reasons Why UFC Abu Dhabi Odds Favor Amanda Ribas
Ribas has lost three of her last four fights, but all those defeats came against elite opponents. She was TKO’d by Maycee Barber, one of the most aggressive brawlers in women’s MMA.
She then dropped a decision to Rose Namajunas, a fighter known for having one of the highest fight IQs in the division. Most recently, she was submitted by Mackenzie Dern, who’s the only WMMA fighter in the UFC with a 3rd-degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Despite the losses, Ribas remains a well-rounded fighter. She holds black belts in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo, and her striking is sharp. She lands 4.29 significant strikes per minute. And it’s not just volume; she’s got power too.
Ribas is a former women’s flyweight now competing in the lightest division. And while in the weight class above, we saw her beat up Viviane Araújo and other fighters. The fact that she’s fighting Tabatha Ricci is great news for her, mainly because Tabatha is a very hittable fighter with a negative striking differential. But Tabatha is incredible in the clinch.
Can Tabatha Ricci Stage an Upset in the UAE?
Tabatha Ricci is becoming more and more like Amanda Ribas. She too is a fantastic wrestler and grappler – with black belts in BJJ and judo – and since recently, her striking skills have really improved.
She lands 4.18 significant strikes a minute, which is an impressive number. The problem is that she gets hit a lot. In fact, she got out-hit by her opponents in each of her last four fights – two of which she won thanks to better wrestling.
But she can’t count on wrestling too much in the UFC Abu Dhabi fight, as Ribas is great at TD defense. Striking too doesn’t seem like the right way to approach this, as Ribas has a 5-inch reach advantage.
So, what can she do? She can fight tactically and look to counterattack. If she gets Ribas in the clinch, her grappling skills might come into the spotlight.
Amanda Ribas vs. Tabatha Ricci Prediction
Tabatha Ricci is in trouble. It’s been a while since she last fought such a powerful opponent. The last time she fought someone with Amanda’s level of skills and physique was on her UFC debut, against Manon Fiorot.
What happened in that fight? She lost by a TKO, which is exactly what we predicted would happen in the UFC Abu Dhabi fight.
Pick: Amanda Ribas by KO/TKO
