Isaih “The Puerto Rican Pretty Boy” Quinones and Branden “The Butcher” Bordeaux will face off in the Cobalt Ballrooms in Fontainebleau fighting for the Power Slap Middleweight champion’s belt.
Fontainebleau to Be the Venue of Power Slap 12
Created and owned by UFC CEO Dana White, Power Slap is a competition where two participants take turns delivering powerful open-handed slaps to each other. Its12th event, “Power Slap 12: Quinones vs Bordeaux 2,” will take place in Fontainebleau Las Vegas on March 7.
The spectacle, which is a rematch will be held at the resort’s Cobalt Ballrooms and it will be the third time the venue has become the center of a Power Slap match. Current Power Slap Middleweight Champion Isaih “The Puerto Rican Pretty Boy” Quinones (4-2, 4 KOs) will defend his title against the No. 2 ranked contender Branden “The Butcher” Bordeaux (3-1).
The two fighters’ first match was thrilling as both rivals scored knockdowns and Quinones left with a KO victory. However, Bordeaux now intends to fully capitalize on his second chance at the belt, seeking revenge against Quinones and starting his reign as the new world champion.
What Else Will Patrons See?
While the match between Quinones and Bordeaux will be the main match of the night, Fontainebleau visitors will also get to witness a lot more flights. Chief among these is the co-main event which will have the lightweight title on the line. Robert “The Real Deal” Trujillo (4-0, 4 KOs) and Dakota “The Maritime Menace” McGregor (2-0, 2 Kos) will face off to become the inaugural lightweight champion.
Trujillo remains undefeated in Power Slap, never having gone needed a second round, and has impressed fans with his victories over Dallas Marron, Jewel Scott, and others. McGregor, also undefeated in the competition, aims to make a statement by mirroring his previous successes against Anthony DeFrank and Reiley Montoya in his pursuit of the title.
Aside from these two matches, there will be several more for the entertainment of patrons of Fontainebleau. These are:
- Dorian “Disturbing the Peace” Perez (5-3, 2 KOs) vs Pono “Da Hawaiian Assassin” Pau (2-1, 2 KOs)
- Christapher “KO Chris” Thomas (5-2, 5 KOs) vs Christopher “Full Metal” Debow (2-2)
- Anthony “Da Kiing” Defrank (1-1, 1 KO) vs Reiley “Slap Shady” Montoya (0-2)
- James “The Iron Chin” Siekmann (2-1, 1 KO) vs Aaron “The Colossus” Turner (1-0, 1 KO)
- Wesley “All the Smoke” Drain (5-5, 3 KOs) vs Ke’ali’i “The Chief” Kanekoa (2-1, 2 KO’s)
