Ainsworth Adds Legal & Compliance Heavyweight to Its Team
Prior to becoming a part of the gaming industry, Ayala spent years as an attorney, providing her with an intimate understanding of the legal sector
Ainsworth Game Technology (AGT), a leading manufacturer and supplier of gaming machines, software and gaming equipment, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Nancy Ramirez Ayala. The new hire will join AGT’s team as SVP, general counsel and group compliance officer.
Ayala brings robust expertise in the iGaming sector to the team. Well-versed in intellectual property and gaming compliance, the appointee is poised to underpin AGT’s growth.
Ayala’s past experiences include a tenure as the vice president of legal of Rush Street Interactive, a market leader in online casino and sports betting. Before joining RSI, she served as assistant general counsel and intellectual property counsel at William Hill, another gaming powerhouse.
Prior to becoming a part of the gaming industry, Ayala spent years as an attorney, providing her with an intimate understanding of the legal sector. As someone who understands both the legal and business side of things, she will play an important role in AGT’s ongoing expansion.
Ayala Is Looking Forward to Helping AGT Grow
In a LinkedIn post, Ayala expressed her excitement about her new role, saying that she is “thrilled to be working with an amazing team.” In an additional statement, she described AGT as a “busy and vital” organization that has huge ambitions.
I look forward to helping the company grow and contributing my expertise as we move through the opportunities and challenges ahead of us.
Nancy Ramirez Ayala, SVP, general counsel and group compliance officer, AGT
Harald Neumann, Ainsworth’s chief executive officer, welcomed Ayala on board. He praised her experience in the legal and compliance side of gaming and said that she is “exactly the right person with the right experience” to guide the company through its ongoing period of growth.
We look forward to working with her as she moves into this role and we continue to take on the challenges of the changing and growing markets we serve.
Harald Neumann, CEO, AGT
Earlier this year, shareholders accused Ainsworth Game Technology’s leadership of talking down the value of the stock. Some said that this devaluation, which came amid the company’s strategic review, might be related to the rumored takeover by Novomatic.
