2025 Quaker State 400 NASCAR Odds, Time, and Prediction

The 2025 Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway is the first event of the NASCAR In-Season Challenge, where $1,000,000 is up for grabs. The race is scheduled for Sunday, June 29, with a live broadcast on TNT

The inaugural NASCAR In-Season Challenge starts on June 29 with the 2025 Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The track is a 1.54-mile quad-oval that was reconfigured four years ago to behave like a superspeedway, even though it technically isn’t one.

It’s a very fast and tricky track, which suits a certain type of driver like Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano, and Austin Cindric. This explains why these three are sitting at the top of the list of 2025 Quaker State 400 favorites.

Examining the Chances of Top 2025 Quaker State 400 Favorites

Over the last six Atlanta races, we witnessed Ryan Blaney averaging 5.0 finishes and always finishing inside the top 9. While he hasn’t clinched a win yet in this event, he has come extremely close on several occasions, with finishes of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in recent editions.

When it comes to his form in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series, he’s got one win to his name, while in the most recent race, he finished third. Joey Logano and Austin Cindric also have a win each, but neither of them has ended up on the podium in any other race.

The reason why their Quaker State 400 odds are shorter than +1000 is that they both have some good memories from Atlanta. This goes especially for Logano, who is the defending champ in this event.

2025 Quaker State 400 Underdogs to Watch Out For

Blaney, Logano, and Cindric are the only three drivers that are (currently) given 2025 Quaker State 400 odds shorter than +1000. However, betting upsets happen often in NASCAR. For example, a +2000 underdog (Chase Briscoe) won last weekend’s race.

Some of the underdogs for the June 29 race that you should pay attention to include:

  • Kyle Busch – This guy hasn’t won a single race in 73 events, so why are his Quaker State odds +1100? Because he’s got three wins in this event. Plus, he’s a hell of a driver who excels in pack racing, which is the style we expect to see on June 28.
  • Brad Keselowski – Priced at +1400, Keselowski mustn’t be underestimated. After all, this guy has two wins in Atlanta and has finished in the top 15 in most events on this track.
  • William Byron – Byron combines Hendrick speed with recent Atlanta form. Plus, he’s desperate to start winning again as he’s without a triumph since the first race of the season.

In addition to these guys, we also think you should watch out for the always-dangerous Kyle Larson, as well as Denny Hamlin, both of whom are true NASCAR legends.

2025 Quaker State 400 Prediction

This is one of the trickiest NASCAR races to predict, but we have one pick for you – Kyle Busch. While we do understand why Ryan Blaney is the driver with the shortest Quaker State 400 odds, we do think Busch can stage an upset.

Sure, he might be past his prime, but if he wants to get his “swan song,” he needs to end his win drought ASAP. We think it might happen this coming Saturday in one of his favorite races.

Pick: Kyle Busch
