2025 Iowa Corn 350 NASCAR Odds, Time, and Prediction

Our 2025 Iowa Corn 350 prediction is that the Iowa Speedway will get a new king on August 3 – Ryan Blaney won’t win it again. But who’s gonna win? Read this NASCAR preview to find out

Even though the Iowa Speedway opened 18 years ago, this track has been on the NASCAR Cup Series map only since last year. Ryan Blaney is the man who won the first-ever Iowa Corn 350, and bookies think he stands a decent chance of doing it again.

Our prediction for the August 3 race, however, is that he won’t do it. It’s not that he’s no longer a great driver; it’s just that the competition is fierce. Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin are in fantastic form, while William Byron and Chase Elliott are desperate to get back on the podium. Then, there’s Chris Bell, who’s a specialist when it comes to racing on tracks like the one in Iowa.

Reasons Why Christopher Bell is the Top Iowa Corn 350 Favorite

Bell enters the Iowa Corn 350 as the betting favorite for good reason – he’s always been dominant on shorter, flat tracks like the 1.3-mile track in the Corn State.

Last year, he finished fourth in the Iowa Corn 350, while back in 2019, he won the NASCAR Xfinity race held at the Iowa Speedway.

Speaking of the track, it’s designed to be as similar as possible as the Richmond Raceway in Virginia, which is the home to the Cook Out 400 and, until last year, the Toyota Owners 400.

While Bell has never won either of those races, he did do okay. Still, the men who really shone in those two events are Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin.

Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, and Other Contenders to Watch Out For

Christopher Bell is the No. 1 favorite to win the race on August 3, with the 2025 Iowa Corn 350 odds of +385. Just behind him is last year’s winner at Iowa Speedway, Ryan Blaney.

However, in our eyes, it’s Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin who should be the top favorites. Here’s why:

  • Kyle Larson (+450) – He’s arguably the best driver in the NASCAR Cup Series, and he’s also very good on short tracks. He won twice in Richmond, and we wouldn’t be surprised if he won in Iowa as well.
  • Denny Hamlin (+650) – This guy’s been in great form lately, finishing third in Indiana after winning the race in Dover. Plus, his record on short tracks is impressive, with three wins in the Cook Out 400 and two in the Toyota Owners 400.

In addition to these guys, we also think William Byron and Chase Elliott stand a good chance. They’re occupying the top two spots in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Drivers Championship, but neither has won a race in a while.

2025 Iowa Corn 350 Prediction

Our pick is Denny Hamlin. He’s a fantastic driver with plenty of experience, but most importantly, he seems to love racing on tracks such as the Iowa Speedway. Priced at +650, he looks like a bet you mustn’t miss.

Pick: Denny Hamlin
