Kyle Larson is considered the top favorite for the 2025 Pocono “The Great American Getaway” 400 for several reasons, starting with the fact that he’s been brilliant in 2025. He’s second in the Drivers’ championship with three wins this season.

In the most recent race – NASCAR Mexico – he recorded the fastest lap but finished in 36^th place after Busch crashed his car into Larson’s. The mishap cost him points, but it’s given him motivation to do much, much better the next time around. He now wants to win the race at Pocono Raceway.

If he does it, it’s going to be his first triumph here. It’s somewhat strange that he hasn’t won it already, given that he’s usually great on these sorts of tracks.
